　　這個月，整體來說算是個加班月吧，工作上專案到了重要關頭，假日常需要加班趕工，所以還能夠繼續保持運動習慣，已經不容易了。

　　在一次因緣際會下，因為朋友的傳授指點，學會了暴力上槓這個帥氣的單槓技能，儘管成功率還說不上百分之百，但好歹也有七、八成的把握，能夠達成這項成就，真是令人開心。另外，先前朋友贈送的肌酸，也在這個月的月底，宣告喝完見底，這一個多月的額外營養補充，有了不少收穫。

　　In this article, I’m going to share some test information of GRE based on  “The Official Guide to the GRE revised General Test,” 2nd edition. today, we will talk about quantitative reasoning.

　　The Quantitative Reasoning measure of the GRE revised General Test accesses your basic mathematical  skills, understanding of elementary mathematical concepts and ability to reason quantitatively and to model and solve problems with quantitative methods. Many of the questions are word problems, which must be translated and modeled mathematically.

　　In this article, again, I’d like to share what I have learned from this book, “The Official Guide to the TOEFL Test,” the fourth edition. This time we will talk about listening section.

　　In the TOEFL iBT Listening section, you will listen to several lectures and conversations in allotted time, usually 60-90 minutes. Both are based on the actual speech that is used in North American colleges and universities. Therefore, a professor giving a lecture may digress somewhat from the main topic, interactions between students and the professor can be extensive, and explanations of content can be elaborate.

　　今天下午，利用加班中間的空檔，到住家附近的游泳池，進行了今年首泳，一方面可以消暑，另一方面也能減脂，最後還能替未來的鐵人三項先行鋪路，這作法真是一石三鳥。

　　其實在兩個禮拜前的端午連假，因為朋友相揪計畫去海邊的關係，那時就已經萌生了該開始游泳的念頭，只可惜當時因為天候因素而取消行程，又適逢專案進度延遲，導致接下來的幾個周末都在加班趕工，一直沒能實現游泳的計劃，也讓這套買了快兩個禮拜之久的新裝備，包括泳褲、泳帽以及蛙鏡，直到今天，才有機會派上用場，是時候到泳池裡去大展身手了。

　　In this article, I’m continuing to share what I have learned from this book, “The Official Guide to the TOEFL Test,” the fourth edition. This time we will talk about independent writing.

　　As mentioned before, the TOEFL iBT test contains four parts: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. In the writing section, there are two tasks: an Integrated Writing task and an Independent Writing task. The integrated Writing task comes first and requires some listening. Later the test-taker will work on the Independent Writing task.

　　不知不覺間，五月就這樣過去了，回顧上一篇的網誌，竟然是上個月所發佈的同系列文章，真是令人感到歲月匆匆。在這個月裡，因為工作繁忙的緣故，沒計劃什麼活動，唯有平日下班後固定運動而已。

　　在這個月裡，窩心的朋友贈送了肌酸，當作遲來的生日禮物，於是便開始嘗試這項健身補充品。搭配無糖豆漿一起沖泡喝下肚的肌酸，讓體重跟體脂肪開始往上攀升，但目前體現在增肌方面的效果，暫時還不明顯。重訓方面，開始惡搞般地天天練二頭，少則四組多則十組，儘管沒有太大意義，不過這練法搞到連我自己都笑了。

　　每年過了四月，代表年齡又增長了一歲，雖然說人生總在向前邁進，但我想其步伐大小，多少還是有差的。在這個月裡，月初爬了小弟的第八座百岳，月中低調地過了生日，除此之外，便無其他值得記憶的事了。

　　這次的體重和體脂肪，基本上一如既往，在沒有改變飲食和運動習慣的前提下，這結果是可以預期的。有氧方面，靠著自我約束，每週排一次十公里路跑，而在重訓方面，組數與次數在訓練菜單上的增加，使其動作內容逐漸朝向簡單但重複性高的訓練型態前進。

　　The reason why we need to take the TOEFL iBT test is that it’s crucial for test taker to be eligible for admission to virtually any institution in the world, including the top colleges and universities. Anyone who want to study abroad must prepare and take this examination before application of the school.

　　「逝者如斯夫，不捨晝夜」，不知不覺之間，又一年就這樣過去了，華髮徒生，一事無成，如今也只能坐在螢幕前空悲嘆。

　　每年生日寫點什麼的，堅持到現在，也進入了第三年，這麼做並不是特別為了什麼，只是單純覺得，在生日這別具意義的一天裡，總要寫點什麼東西，開心的，難過的，光明的，灰暗的，來記錄下人生的歷程。
